Two men, aged 43 and 22, were apprehended at the airport on Mykonos Island for drug trafficking. Authorities seized the drugs in their possession along with €1,644 in cash. Investigations are ongoing into the involvement of a third suspect believed to have been in charge of client communications.
Earlier this week, law enforcement also detained a couple in Ornos who were found with counterfeit identification. During that incident, police confiscated €12,000, $340, and a variety of drugs. Mykonos police are actively pursuing investigations into both cases.
