The Pilgrimage of Discovery has concluded its 2024 trip, offering sixteen young adults from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America a profound Orthodox experience and the opportunity to forge lifelong friendships.

During the 7-day journey, participants explored the historic city of Constantinople, took boat tours of its stunning vistas, and engaged in religious activities, including chanting during a service led by His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

The pilgrimage included visits to significant religious sites such as the Life-Giving Springs and the Holy Theological School of Halki, as well as time spent in discussion and fellowship with the Ecumenical Patriarch.

This annual program, fully funded and designed for Orthodox Christian young adults across America, aims to deepen their faith and connect them with their ancestral roots. By providing a curated and immersive experience, the Pilgrimage of Discovery strengthens participants’ identities and commitment to their faith while fostering a sense of community and cultural continuity within the Orthodox Church.
