A 25-year-old Israeli national was remanded by the Nicosia district court on Thursday amid an ongoing investigation into the misuse of Greek Cypriot property located in the north.
The individual was apprehended a day prior at Paphos Airport, where he was scheduled to board a flight to another EU country.
The court has ordered a five-day remand for the suspect in connection with charges that include money laundering, conducting suspicious real estate transactions, and the unauthorized use of land registered to another person.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at police headquarters in Nicosia is actively continuing its investigations into the case.
