British Tourist Vanishes After Swim on Rhodes Beach

Greek authorities are urgently searching for a 48-year-old British tourist who went missing after swimming with his niece on Theologos Beach in northern Rhodes.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was last seen yesterday during a family holiday on the island.

The tourist's niece raised the alarm after he failed to return to their holiday accommodation hours after they had gone swimming together. Concerned, she contacted the local police, prompting a coordinated search effort involving the police, coast guard, and local boat owners.

This incident is part of a worrying trend of disappearances in Greece this summer, including that of Mail columnist Dr. Michael Mosley. The search for the missing tourist on Rhodes continues as authorities work to uncover any clues to his whereabouts.
