Missing British Tourist Found Dead on Rhodes Beach

A 48-year-old British tourist who had been missing since Wednesday afternoon on the Greek island of Rhodes has been found dead on a beach.

The man, who was vacationing on the island with relatives, was last seen at Theologou Beach, where he had gone swimming with his niece.

According to reports, the man's young niece had left the beach earlier, leaving him behind. When she returned later and could not find him, she alerted the authorities. A search was initiated, leading to the discovery of his body on the beach.

The Central Port Authority of Rhodes has launched a preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the man's death, and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause.
