Voutoumi Beach, with its blue-green, crystal waters and enchanting seabed, is in itself a reason to visit this Ionian island, which is only 20 minutes from Paxos. Boats depart daily from Logos or Gaios for the small, green, flat island of only 20 permanent residents.
Antipaxos is a one-stop destination, and you won't have any trouble getting to the wonderful Voutoumi but also to some of the other beautiful beaches of the island, such as Vrika and Mesovrika, just a few minutes further north.
The magic of this beach is immediately seen if you start from above, from the green hills that offer cool shade to the coast and looks down for a moment, towards the transparent sea and the small or large yachts that are moored in the open bay.
Crystal clear waters reveal beneath your feet the soft, white sand that covers the bottom and allows you to see with ease without a mask and without even entering the water..
The beach has large, white stones, but you will find several sections covered with sand, and this is the beautiful difference between the beaches of Antipaxos and those of Paxos: they are more accessible, especially if you are traveling with children.
You can also reach the wonderful bay by boat directly from Paxos and return again after a few hours, since there is no accommodation on the island anyway.
If you plan to spend a whole sunny day in the Ionian paradise, then take a short walk to the small port of the island which is also the only settlement of Antipaxos.
Also, swim in as many beaches as possible as it is really worth it, as is a tour of the sea caves which are, of course, only accessible by water.
As it is a very small island, it is certain that you will manage to see almost everything, especially if you have arrived here by boat or water taxi.
