Tripoli: A woman was setting fires because she "liked to see the firefighters"
A 3-year suspended prison sentence (2 months to be served) plus a €1,000 fine was imposed on the 44-year-old woman who was arrested yesterday in Tripoli as the perpetrator of two consecutive and intentional arson incidents in an agricultural area.
According to information, the woman in Tripoli was setting the fires "because she liked to see the firefighters and flirt with them".
As reported yesterday by the Fire Brigade in an announcement, she was arrested in the context of the flagrant offense procedure by investigative officers of the Tripoli Fire Brigade, a Greek national, as the perpetrator of two fires in an agricultural area, intentionally and repeatedly (on 24 and 25 August 2024), in the area of the local community of Kerasitsa, in the municipality of Tripoli, Arcadia.
