Horasis India Meeting 2024: Greece prepares to host international conference on economic cooperation

Athens is preparing to host one of the most important international business meetings on September 15 and 16.

The Horasis India Meeting 2024, which will be held at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Athens, aims to strengthen and expand economic and trade relations between Greece and India and is jointly organised by the Hellenic-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Economy (HICCE), the Association of Industrialists of India (Confederation of Indian Industry) and the internationally recognised organisation HORASIS, with the support of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Digital Governance.

An international cooperation platform

Horasis India Meeting 2024 offers a unique platform for discussions between government officials, diplomats and business leaders from India, Greece and other countries.

The conference aims to promote sustainable development by strengthening economic ties between Greece and India and highlighting the investment opportunities offered by the Greek economy.

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss a wide range of topics related to the economy, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

Central thematic pillar: International economic cooperation

One of the main axes of the conference is international economic cooperation.

Participants will have the opportunity to present innovative ideas and proposals regarding the development of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Intergovernmental Management) strategies, the future of infrastructure in Greece, and the support of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

The exchange of views between the participants is expected to contribute to shaping a common future of prosperity and development in terms of sustainability.

Athens as an emerging business hub

The Horasis India Meeting 2024 is expected to highlight Athens’ evolution into an emerging business hub in Europe.

Discussions will focus on the long-term bilateral relations between Greece and India and the wider prospects of the Greek economy.

Particular emphasis will be placed on India’s role as a driver of global growth, while the possibilities offered by Greece as a gateway to Europe for investors and businesses will also be analysed.
