Italian Football Team Unveils Historic Jerseys Inspired by the Roman Empire and Constantine the Great

Rome-based design studio Ezeta has introduced a new set of football jerseys for the Eccellenza team Boreale ASD, drawing inspiration from the Battle of the Milvian Bridge.

The Battle of the Milvian Bridge, fought on October 28, 312 AD, was a pivotal conflict between Roman Emperors Constantine I and Maxentius. Constantine’s victory in the battle marked the beginning of his sole rule over the Roman Empire and the end of the Tetrarchy. The battle is also significant for its association with the triumph of Christianity over Paganism.
