The pistachio of Aegina, called "Fistiki Aeginis," is one of the best-known PDO products in Greece and has recently been included in the National Index of Intangible Cultural Heritage!
Established in 2009, the festival aims to promote one of the island’s most characteristic products, which is world-renowned for its rich flavour and aroma.
The main event is the four-day trade fair, which runs along the seafront of Aegina Town and hosts dozens of local producers.
At the same time, the festival is accompanied by many artistic events, like painting and sculpture exhibitions and upbeat concerts, starting in mid-August and lasting until the end of September.
