Trikeri is located on the edge of the peninsula of the Prefecture of Magnesia and is a protected settlement. Until the 1980s, access was only by sea – there was no road to get there – it has largely retained the atmosphere of the past.

At the top of the Fourtouna hill, it is served by the port of Agia Kyriaki, which also hosted part of the filming.
