The organisers of the Acropolis Rally 2024 have introduced a fresh perspective to the event’s highlight, the EKO Super Special Stage, by selecting a novel location and time for the high-adrenaline race.
This year’s stage moves away from Athens, a departure from previous years, where the event took place at iconic locations such as Syntagma Square (2021), OAKA (2022), and Nero Square in Faliro (2023).
Taking place on Saturday, September 7, the Super Special Stage will unfold at the S.E.A. Sirios in Malakasa, marking the third day of the race. The 1.97-kilometre route will snake through the area surrounding the Motorists' Service Station and include a section of the motorway from Lamia to Athens. The thrilling course will give rally fans an opportunity to witness the world’s best drivers tackling the challenging terrain in record-breaking WRC cars, alongside skilled Greek teams.
The outcome of the EKO Super Special Stage is set to play a pivotal role in shaping the standings, with the results forming a crucial snapshot of the overall rankings.
