SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance’s Central Committee members concluded in-person voting on Sunday regarding a censure motion against party leader Stefanos Kasselakis. The motion, submitted Saturday by 100 committee members, saw those present cast their votes throughout the day at the meeting’s downtown hotel venue.

A second phase of voting will now take place, allowing absent Central Committee members to cast their votes by phone. Following this, all votes will be tallied.

For the censure motion to pass, it requires approval from a simple majority – 50% plus one – of all 295 committee members, totaling 148 votes.
