Athens, Greece – A high-level delegation of Greek businesses is set to embark on a major trade mission to Oceania and Southeast Asia this October, aiming to strengthen economic ties and showcase the dynamism of the Greek economy.

The initiative, spearheaded by the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Greek-Asian Business Council, highlights Greece's growing focus on expanding its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region.

The delegation boasts a diverse portfolio, representing both established names and innovative newcomers in the Greek business landscape. Foodie favorites like Mevgal, Almi, Arkas, Elmar, and Tharros Herbs and Oils will be on hand, offering a taste of Greece's vibrant culinary scene. Meanwhile, companies like Verpan, specialists in PVC and aluminum doors and panels, will showcase the country's manufacturing prowess.

"This is more than just a trade mission – it's about building lasting relationships," noted a representative from the delegation. "We're excited to share our expertise, explore new opportunities, and foster mutually beneficial partnerships with businesses in Oceania and Southeast Asia."

The itinerary includes stops in key business hubs across the region, starting with Melbourne (Sept 30 - Oct 2) before heading to Sydney (Oct 3-5), Adelaide (Oct 6-8), Auckland (Oct 9-10), and concluding in Singapore (Oct 11). Each city will host a series of networking events, business matchmaking sessions, and industry-specific presentations, providing ample opportunities for delegates and attendees to connect.

In Australia, the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) is playing a key role in facilitating the delegation's visit, working closely with local businesses and Greek diplomatic missions to ensure its success.

“We're thrilled to welcome these dynamic Greek businesses to Australia," commented a representative from HACCI. "This is a prime opportunity for Australian businesses to diversify their supply chains, explore innovative products and services, and forge valuable partnerships with Greek companies.”
