Adverse weather conditions, including rain and cold, prevented Miltiadis Tentoglou from competing for the top spot at the Diamond League in Brussels.

Emmanouil Karalis secured second place in the pole vault at the Diamond League in Brussels, while Miltiadis Tentoglou took third place in the long jump.

Emmanouil Karalis concluded this year’s Diamond League in the best possible way, securing 2nd place in the pole vault final in Brussels, the 15th and last stop of the tournament for the 2024 season.

The Greek bronze Olympic medalist in Paris finished his performance under challenging weather conditions in the Belgian capital with a jump of 5.82m, which he cleared on his first attempt. Earlier, he also surpassed the 5.62m mark on his first try.

The adverse weather conditions, including rain and cold, did not allow Miltiadis Tentoglou to contend for the top position at the Diamond League in Brussels.

The Greek Olympic gold medalist surpassed 8 meters on his final jump, securing 3rd place with a performance of 8.15m.

The winner was Jamaican Tajay Gayle, who reached 8.28m, while Swiss Simon Ehammer came in second with 8.16m.
