Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted Greece's ongoing transformation, emphasising the visible impact of his government's 45-point plan. Presented at the Thessaloniki International Fair, the plan focuses on boosting economic productivity, supporting social groups, and increasing disposable income through salary hikes and tax cuts. Mitsotakis also outlined key initiatives for healthcare staff, family support, and housing policies.
Highlighting his 45-point plan, presented at this year’s Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), Mitsotakis emphasised that the plan is not about "allowances and empty promises" but consists of targeted measures aimed at boosting the economy’s productivity and global reach, while supporting key social groups, particularly the younger generation.
"This plan is marked by realism, vision, and responsibility, within the financial limits set by the EU to avoid past pitfalls," Mitsotakis posted on social media. He underscored that the economic strategy for 2025 includes 12 salary hikes and 12 tax cuts, with a focus on reducing social security contributions. "Increasing disposable income is a direct response to the high cost of living that households face," he explained.
The Prime Minister also highlighted initiatives to support medical and nursing staff in the National Health System (NHS) and outlined family support and housing policies aimed at further strengthening Greece’s social infrastructure.
