Four brothers, one dream
The story of the Myconian Collection began in the 1960s when Mykonos started attracting global attention. George Daktylides, fueled by ambition and hard work, opened the island's first hotel outside the town, the Kohili 1979, followed by others, ultimately establishing Mykonos’ first five-star hotel, the Ambassador Relais & Châteaux.
As George and his wife Eleftheria grew their hotel empire, they raised four sons—Vangelis, Panos, Markos, and Marios—who learned the hospitality trade from a young age. After training in renowned institutions, the brothers expanded the Myconian Collection, blending modern luxury with traditional Myconian architecture.
Today, the Myconian Collection boasts 14 properties that reflect a commitment to luxury and the island's authentic charm. The latest addition, Deos, offers guests stunning views and a tranquil retreat. The Daktylides brothers continue to innovate, ensuring their father's legacy thrives while maintaining strong family ties.
