Astoria, September 24 – In a significant gathering, 23 Hellenic-American organizations warmly welcomed Greece’s Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during his visit to Astoria. The event celebrated the strong ties between Greece and the United States and honored distinguished individuals for their impactful contributions.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Mitsotakis awarded decorations to Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks, Sylvia Mathews Burwell, and Andrew Manatos. These three esteemed Greek-Americans were recognized for their remarkable efforts in strengthening the community and enhancing societal welfare.
