Beirut, Lebanon โ€“ Despite circulating misinformation, Father Gregorios Salloum is alive and receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Saint George Hospital in Beirut.

The priest's health status has been a source of concern following false reports of his passing. However, his family and the hospital have confirmed that he remains under medical care after an Israeli air strike.

A Greek Orthodox priest was injured in an Israeli bombing in Lebanon, according to the Greek Orthodox Archbishopric of Tyre and Sidon. The priest was initially reported as having been killed, but the Archbishopric later corrected the information.
