Summer is the time to make homemade jam for the winter. Apricots and peaches make perfect jams during the summer months.
With patience and time, you can find ripe fruit and make your favourite homemade jam. Here's how to store it correctly.
Storage and maintenance
After preparing our favourite jam, it's time to store it, especially if you want to make a sufficient quantity to enjoy in the winter.
How is it stored? Place the jam in sterilised jars while it is still hot. Then comes the airtight closing process: while the inside of the jar is still warm, add the lid and close it tightly.
Attention: The jars and insides must be warm.
