Now that cauliflower is at its best, it’s time to make a nutritious snack that breaks the mould.
Instead of boiling or steaming the cauliflower as usual, bread it and air fry it. Thus, you prepare an original dish that can stand alone as an appetiser and accompany grilled meats and fish.
It is also a perfect vegan option that we can enjoy on a daily basis as a snack and not only. With this particular recipe, the cauliflower becomes super crispy and delicious, giving the feeling of being fried but without weighing us down.
Ingredients:
500 g. cauliflower, cut into florets, coarse salt
pepper
1 tsp. bukovo
Two tsp. of extra virgin olive oil
3 tsp. breadcrumbs
2 tsp. parsley, chopped
Procedure
Put all the ingredients (except the parsley) in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and mix very well. Transfer to the air fryer and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the parsley and a little extra salt and serve.
Tips
– You can also add grated Parmesan or Kefalotiri to the breading.
– It goes great with mustard sauces and yogurt sauce with fresh mint.
