Peugeot is bringing its new large SUV to Greece’s great Motor Show before making it available both as a pure electric and as a petrol engine.

The flagship SUV of Peugeot will make a dynamic appearance in a few days at AUTO ATHINA 2024 before being launched on the Greek market and available for orders.

Its design follows Peugeot ‘s modern philosophy, including that of the new 3008. Compared to this, it is clearly longer with a length of 4.79 metres and a wheelbase of 2,901 millimetres. There will also be an option for a 7-seater cabin configuration.

The spaciousness is particularly emphasised by the trunk which starts at 269 litres (with 7 seats and including the electric version E-5008). It can reach 1,815 litres with the rear seats folded.

The interior of the new Peugeot 5008 follows the French company’s approach, with the latest technology Panoramic i-Cockpit, with a single optical screen which reaches 21.0 inches.

And in the large SUV there are the practical buttons for direct access, the so-called i-Toggles and the square steering wheel.

The connectivity capabilities are also a strong presence, thanks to Peugeot’s latest generation infotainment system, while all the required assistance systems are an important addition.

The E-5008 is equipped with a 214 hp (157 kW) electric motor on the front axle and a 73 kWh battery, which ensures a range of 500 km, based on WLTP measurements. The Long Range version has a 98 kWh battery, the range is 660 kilometres, and the electric motor produces 231 hp (170 kW).

At the top of the range for the electric SUV is the four-wheel drive version, with two electric motors and a combined power of 320 hp, also equipped with a 98 kWh battery and a range of 500 kilometres.

From next year, a plug-in hybrid version will follow, which promises 80 kilometers of range.
