Greek Bulker Accidentally Hit by Houthi Missile in Red Sea

The Modion-managed panamax was damaged in the attack but has since safely reached the Gulf of Suez.

A Greek bulk carrier, struck by a Houthi missile near Yemen last week, has successfully navigated away from the danger area and is now secure in the Gulf of Suez.

The managers and owners of the Minoan Courage, a 76,800-dwt vessel built in 2013, confirmed that the Filipino crew onboard was unharmed in the incident.

According to Modion Maritime, the Greek shipping firm managing the vessel, it was hit by a single missile on the aft starboard side while ballasting on 1 October.
