In the third quarter alone, the airline transported more than 5.3 million passengers, maintaining high demand.
The airline also increased its seat offerings during this period, providing over 6.3 million seats in the third quarter, a 2% rise from last year. Overall, available seats across the nine months surpassed 15.2 million, reflecting a 6% growth compared to 2023.
Looking ahead to the final quarter of 2024, AEGEAN plans to offer an additional 4.5 million seats, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. The airline is also expanding its routes, including additional flights to London Heathrow, Istanbul, and several Balkan destinations. A new route to Abu Dhabi will launch on October 27.
