PASOK Elections: Androulakis Wins with Nearly 60% of the Vote, Defeating Doukas at 40%

As expected, Nikos Androulakis will remain president of PASOK after winning the election with a significant lead. The election saw high voter turnout and a generally civil atmosphere.

With 71.6% of the precincts reporting, Androulakis secured 59.98% of the vote, compared to 40.02% for Haris Doukas.

Doukas has already called Androulakis to congratulate him on his victory, stating, "We move forward together."

It's worth noting that Androulakis also won in the municipality of Athens, securing 60.56% of the vote against Doukas's 39.44%.
