Saint Anargyroi: 14-year-old Undergoes Surgery After Being Hit on the Head by a Balcony Section - Suffers from External Epidural Hematoma

A 14-year-old girl underwent surgery after being seriously injured on the head on Thursday afternoon in Saint Anargyroi.

The minor was injured when a section of a balcony fell on her head while she was waiting with her mother for the bus on Heroon Polytechniou Street.

According to reports, the girl was conscious and speaking, but she suffered a head injury with bleeding.

She was transported by an EKAB ambulance, accompanied by DIAS police officers, to the Children's Hospital, where she subsequently underwent surgery to remove an epidural hematoma.
