Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized on Tuesday, during a meeting with President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, that the strategic relationship between Greece and the US will remain strong regardless of the election outcome.
He also highlighted the need for Europe to mature geopolitically, urging the continent to “roll up its sleeves” and adopt new policies.
On economic matters, Mitsotakis reiterated the government’s commitment to reducing taxes, asserting that targeted tax cuts can be achieved by effectively addressing tax evasion.
In response, President Sakellaropoulou underscored the significance of Europe’s geostrategic independence and affirmed that Greece will collaborate with whichever president the American public elects.
