On Wednesday, Nikos Vertis spoke to "Happy Day" at Athens "Eleftherios Venizelos" International Airport about his personal life, whether he would like to sing at the Odeon or the obsessive female fans.
When asked about his personal life and whether he would like to have children, Nikos Vertis replied, "At some point."
"Sooner or later, we all find love. And if we haven't found it, we're looking for it. I always try to keep my life personal. At some point, this will happen. At some point, if God wants it, this will happen too," he said.
Nikos Vertis also explained what he does before he goes on stage.
"Before I go on the dance floor, I always say my prayer and cross for everything to go well. We are not the best people, the best Christians. We try as much as we can to improve and have our souls as pure as possible," the singer said.
He was also asked about the recent debate about who deserves to perform at Odeon.
"I would not like to express my personal opinion on this. I don't like discrimination in general. I would prefer there to be no discrimination. When there is something decent, it should be represented by any venue and any artist trying to do the best they can," he said.
As for whether he would like to sing on the stage of the Odeon at some point, the singer said: "No, I'm still young. What will I do when I'm 70 if I sing now at the Odeon?"
"I think I would have preferred it to sing a little older. But that's how I feel. I might wake up tomorrow and want to sing at the Odeon," Nikos Vertis added.
Finally, regarding obsessive fans, the popular singer commented: "It's good to be able to evade in the most polite way and to be lucky that there is understanding on the other side as well."
