Black Friday vs. Christmas Sales in Greece

Black Friday is a great time to start shopping for Christmas gifts.

Black Friday wins by a margin in the volume of discounted products compared to the Christmas sales. Most retailers participate in the sales, which can last for much of November, and the number of deals you can get is truly insane.

Black Friday has always tended to have better deals than the Christmas sales, with stronger discounts on many popular products. This may be because retailers believe that people need presents at the last minute before Christmas, which means they are willing to spend more.

On the downside, popular products and those with massive discounts are likely to sell out quickly, which can frustrate shoppers. Another con is the sheer volume of advertisements, as we are bombarded with advertising marketing.

Christmas sales can be a bit more manageable as many people may be at home with their families in the run-up to Christmas (although, let's not kid ourselves, the shops are very busy at that time!).

The biggest sales of the year are still a few weeks away, but the first Black Friday 2024 deals are already rolling in at all major retailers. The discounts apply to everything from technology, TVs and laptops to beauty, clothing, mattresses and home appliances.
