Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and Greek Ambassador to Libya Nikolas Garledinis have highlighted the importance of resuming direct flights between the two countries to enhance communication and facilitate people's movement. This statement was made following a meeting in Tripoli on Monday, as reported by Dbeibah's media office.
During the meeting, Dbeibah and Garledinis discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including encouraging the exchange of visits between Libyan and Greek officials and exploring further collaboration in the civil aviation sector.
In June, Libya's Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, called on Greek airlines to resume flights to Libya and for Greek companies to explore opportunities in the country.
