The blood drive at 'Syntagma' station is organized by the Road Safety Institute 'Panos Mylonas' and the 'Korgialenio-Benakio-Hellenic Red Cross Athens General Hospital and will run from 11:00 to 16:00

The event, announced on Wednesday, aims to honour the millions of people who have been killed or seriously injured in road traffic accidents worldwide and acknowledge the impact on victims, their families, and communities.

The WDR, held on the third Sunday of November each year, is organized by the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims. It serves as a day of remembrance for those affected by road traffic incidents, highlighting the human toll of these accidents and the need for greater road safety awareness.

Participants in the blood drive will be contributing to a meaningful cause while remembering those who have suffered from road traffic collisions.
