A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the deadly apartment explosion in Athens last month. Police arrested a 31-year-old man on Monday after his fingerprint was found on a gun bag at the scene of the explosion in the Ambelokipi district. The man, who has a history of terrorism-related activity, is expected to appear before a prosecutor on Tuesday.

The blast, which occurred on October 31st, killed 36-year-old Kyriakos X., who is suspected of assembling the explosive device. His partner, graphic designer Marianna Manoura, was seriously injured and remains hospitalized but has since provided testimony.

Three other individuals have already been arrested in connection with the explosion: 30-year-old PhD student Dimitra Zarafeta, her partner Dimitris Papathanasiou (an IT specialist), and the now-arrested 31-year-old man who turned himself in on November 1st. All suspects face terrorism-related charges, including forming and participating in a terrorist organization. The investigation continues amid concerns about a growing radical network in Athens.
