Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is making his foray into film production with the heist comedy "Mykonos." His production company, Improbable Media, is partnering with Studio Galazio to produce the film, which has recently wrapped principal photography.

The film boasts a notable cast, including Julia Fox, Riccardo Scamarcio, Vito Schnabel, Klelia Andriolatou, and Andrew Georgiades. Set on the glamorous Greek island, "Mykonos" follows a band of thieves targeting wealthy tourists who disrupt the island's tranquility each summer. The ensemble cast also features Panos Koronis, Makis Papadimitriou, Yorgos Pirpassopoulos, Maria Kavoyianni, Alan Asaad, and Christos Passalis.

This project marks the directorial debut of Christopher André Marks, CEO of Studio Galazio, who also wrote the screenplay. Marks expressed his excitement about working with the international cast and crew on the studio's first major project in Greece. Studio Galazio focuses on developing film and television projects with Greek themes for global distribution.

Antetokounmpo announced the project on social media, sharing his enthusiasm for the film and his love for Mykonos. In addition to Improbable Media and Studio Galazio, the film is being produced in collaboration with local Greek production company BLONDE S.A. and producers Ginevra Tamberi, Donna Bloom, and Raphael Benoliel.

Antetokounmpo, a two-time NBA MVP and 2021 Finals MVP, continues to impress on the court, averaging 31.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists for the Bucks this season.
