Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Incident in Central Athens

A tragic hit-and-run accident occurred on Thursday morning, November 21, in the heart of Athens, when a pedestrian was struck and dragged by a car on Satovriandou Street.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision, and authorities are now intensively searching for the individual, who is still at large. Despite efforts to save the victim, emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

Greek police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras in an attempt to identify the suspect and bring them to justice. The investigation continues as officers seek to hold the driver accountable for the fatal incident.
