Athens, Greece – Renowned Greek chef Andreas Lagos has revealed that he once had the honour of cooking for the British royal family. During a recent appearance on the Greek morning show "Proian se Eidon," Lagos shared anecdotes about his culinary experiences, including his time catering to the royals.

Lagos, known for his passion for fresh, local ingredients, expressed his disdain for the oversaturation of cooking content on social media. He shared that he prefers a more hands-on approach to cooking, often tending to his garden and preparing meals with fresh, seasonal produce.

When asked about his experiences cooking for the royal family, Lagos disclosed that he had catered to them both in Southern France and London. He described the royal family's diet as surprisingly simple, consisting of healthy Mediterranean fare such as lentils and fava beans. Lagos also emphasized that he prepared meals for the children without added salt or sugar.

"I cooked for them without salt for the children and without sugar," Lagos said. "They ate healthy, Mediterranean, Greek cuisine. Lentils, fava beans, and things like that."

Lagos previously shared more details about his encounter with the royal family in an interview with iefimerida.gr. He recalled meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton at a chateau in France in 2016. Lagos explained that he often incorporates Greek ingredients into his cooking, regardless of where he is, and that the royals appreciated his simple yet flavorful approach to food.
