Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch Marries for Fifth Time at 93

LOS ANGELES, CA – Media magnate Rupert Murdoch, 93, has wed for the fifth time, exchanging vows with Elena Zhukova in a private ceremony held at his California vineyard estate this weekend. The guest list, a who's who of the business, art, and media worlds, reflected the couple's wide-ranging connections.

Ms Zhukova is the mother of Dasha Zhukova, the Russian art collector and founder of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow. Dasha Zhukova was previously married to Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos.

The wedding comes just months after Mr Murdoch stepped down from executive leadership of News Corporation, the media empire he built over seven decades. He now holds the title of Chairman Emeritus, with his son Lachlan Murdoch at the helm. The company’s holdings include influential news outlets such as The Sun and The Times in the UK and Fox News and The Wall Street Journal in the US.

Photos of the newlyweds, released by Murdoch-owned The Sun, show the couple beaming. Details about the ceremony remain private, but sources suggest it was lavish.

The marriage marks another chapter in the long and eventful life of Rupert Murdoch, whose influence on the global media landscape is undeniable. The significant age gap between Mr Murdoch and Ms Zhukova has also drawn considerable attention.
