An arson attack has targeted the Adass Israel Synagogue in Melbourne, Australia, leaving two people injured.

A fire has severely damaged the Adass Israel Synagogue in Melbourne overnight in a suspicious fire that was set ablaze. Over 60 firefighters battled the blaze.

Two masked men were seen pouring gasoline around the entrance before igniting the fire and fleeing. No suspects are in custody.

Melbourne has seen a significant rise in antisemitic incidents since October 7, 2023, with this latest attack adding to the growing concerns over safety and security in the community.
