The visit of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Lebanon has been postponed due to a breakdown of government aircraft.
According to an announcement from the Air Force General Staff, the government aircraft suffered a technical failure, making the Prime Minister's planned trip to Lebanon impossible.
His visit is postponed to the next few days.
It is recalled that the Prime Minister was scheduled to travel to the Eastern Mediterranean country on a symbolic visit to support the country in implementing the ceasefire that was reached on November 26.
The visit was considered highly symbolic and important, as Mitsotakis would be the first leader of a European Union member country to visit Beirut after the ceasefire agreement to stop the war between Israel and Hezbollah.
