A police station commander in Thessaloniki has been suspended following his arrest on allegations of sexual harassment.
The complaint was lodged by a female civilian employee of the station, prompting immediate legal action.
According to reports from ERT, the arrest followed a complaint by the woman’s husband, who alleged that the commander displayed inappropriate behaviour, including showing her a sexual aid and a butterfly knife.
The case has been referred to the Thessaloniki Single Plenary Court, where the officer will face trial. Authorities have not released additional details as investigations continue.
