Athens, Greece – Greek police have apprehended two individuals believed to be involved in a deadly shooting incident that occurred in the affluent suburb of Glyfada on Monday morning.

The shooting resulted in the deaths of two people and the injury of another. Authorities are actively pursuing the remaining four suspects.

The two arrested individuals, believed to be of Turkish or Kurdish origin, are suspected of involvement in the shooting. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact motive behind the attack.

The incident took place inside an OPAP gambling store, where multiple gunshots were fired. The victims, who have yet to be formally identified, attempted to flee the scene but succumbed to their injuries outside a nearby pharmacy and supermarket.

Police are exploring the possibility that the shooting was a result of a personal dispute or a settling of scores.
