Turkish Aircraft Violates Greek Airspace Over Aegean Sea, Promptly Intercepted

On Thursday afternoon, a Turkish ATR-2 aircraft entered Greek airspace over the Aegean Sea.

According to the National Defense General Staff (ΓΕΕΘΑ), the Turkish aircraft was promptly identified and intercepted in accordance with international regulations and standard operational procedures.
