The German police are evacuating a second Christmas market in the city of Erfurt.

As a precautionary measure following the Magdeburg attack, the Christmas market in Erfurt has been evacuated.
Thuringian Interior Minister Georg Maier confirmed the move, which was made at the request of organizers, though he emphasized there were no specific threats identified.
