Santa Takes to the Water in Thessaloniki!

Thermaikos was filled with Santas as part of the 4th SANTA SUP

Thessaloniki's Thermaikos Gulf got a festive makeover just days before Christmas, as dozens of Santas braved the water on stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) in two separate events.

Charity Row for Autism:

The Adult Coastal Rowing Department of the Thessaloniki Sea Friends Club kicked things off. Forty rowers donned Santa suits and embarked on a route from their club, cruising past the beach and stopping at the iconic Aristotelous Square. More than just a fun activity, their participation supported the Association of Parents and Friends of Autistic People of Northern Greece "Achtida."

4th Annual SANTA SUP:

Continuing the festive spirit, ThesSup.gr, based at the Thessaloniki Nautical Club, hosted the 4th annual SANTA SUP event. With the Canoe Kayak Federation's backing, men and women donned their Santa gear and paddled across the Thermaic Gulf, filling the city with Christmas cheer.
