Director Christopher Nolan's next movie has officially been revealed as The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek poem chronicling Odysseus's decade-long journey home following the Trojan War.

The film, described by Universal Pictures as a "mythic action epic," will be shot around the world using groundbreaking IMAX technology, marking the first time this foundational saga graces IMAX screens.

A stellar cast has been assembled, including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, and Charlize Theron. The Odyssey is slated for a global theatrical release on July 17, 2026.
