We've seen it in Stefanos Tsitsipas's older social media posts, usually when he wanted to announce something important.
The Greek tennis player, in a special Instagram post, presented the crest he created for the Tsitsipas family.
“Family emblems, also known as crests, are symbolic representations historically used to identify families or individuals. These elaborate designs often include elements representing the values, achievements, and heritage of the family they represent,” Stefanos explains.
“Creating a personalized crest for the Tsitsipas family aims to honor the rich heritage and unique qualities of each family member. By incorporating the meanings behind their names into the design, this crest serves as a timeless symbol of family pride and identity.
In creating this personalized crest, we have incorporated detailed symbols that honor the heritage and distinct qualities of each member of the Tsitsipas family. This crest stands as a proud symbol of the family's identity and values,” he added.
Apostolos Tsitsipas's symbol is a ship's wheel, representing him as the captain of the family.
Mother Julia is depicted as a flower blossom, while Stefanos Tsitsipas is represented by an ear of wheat, Petros by a tower, Pavlos by a star, and young Elisavet by a wave.
