Gov.gr, Greece’s central digital platform, has once again demonstrated its strong performance in customer experience (CX), ranking second among 74 companies in a recent survey conducted by Braincandy.
This marks the second consecutive year that Gov.gr has maintained its position as the public service leader in consumer satisfaction, outpacing many competitors in the public sector.
Despite increased competition and the emergence of companies like Aegean Airlines within the top five, Gov.gr continues to set high standards for digital services. The ranking reflects its ongoing commitment to improving the digital everyday lives of Greek citizens.
A Citizen-Centric Approach
Gov.gr’s success in the survey, which evaluated companies across 11 different sectors, underscores the effectiveness of the Ministry of Digital Governance’s citizen-focused strategy. Over the past four years, the platform has become a vital tool in the hands of Greek citizens, providing easy access to a wide range of government services online. The ranking confirms the positive impact of the digital transformation underway in Greece.
Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, highlighted the achievement in a statement to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, emphasising the government’s goal to digitize all state procedures by the end of its current term. “The citizen-centric design of services adopted by the Ministry is transforming the everyday life of citizens, earning their trust in the state and its institutions,” said Papastergiou.
Digital Evolution and the Future of Gov.gr
With an impressive rate of 1 to 1.5 new digital services launched per day, the government is steadily working towards a fully digital state. Gov.gr also became the first Greek public service to integrate Artificial Intelligence, with its digital assistant, mAigov, answering over 1.6 million questions from citizens.
Papastergiou concluded, “We continue vigorously with the goal of a digital and effective Greece for everyone.” This achievement is a testament to the government’s dedication to modernising public services and making them more accessible and efficient for all.
