The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) has officially announced the launch of a tender for the development of the “Beach and Camping of Possidi” on the Kassandra peninsula in Northern Greece.
The call, issued on Friday, invites interested parties to submit bids for a prime property covering 12.9 hectares (129 stremmas), which includes 620 metres of beachfront, established camping facilities, and infrastructure spanning 88,421.84 square metres.
The property is strategically located near popular holiday destinations—just 2.6 km from Possidi, 5 km from Kalandra, and 10 km from Skala Fourkas. It is also surrounded by well-known hotels and resorts, such as Possidi Holidays Resort Suites, Hotel Acropolis, Hotel Thea, and Mendi Hotel. Additionally, the site lies adjacent to Zone B of the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Poseidon, one of the region’s most significant landmarks. The ancient sanctuary, along with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki’s camping site in Kalandra, has attracted visitors for decades.
The property presents a unique opportunity for the development of high-end holiday homes, luxury hotels, and leisure facilities. The rights for development are being offered under a 99-year concession. The tender process will be carried out in two phases: Phase I (preselection) and Phase II (submission of binding offers).
For more information, including full details of the tender, prospective bidders can visit the HRADF’s English-language website at hradf.com, under the “Procurement and Invitations” section.
