Pyrgos: Roma and Pakistanis clash on Christmas Day over drugs

A serious clash occurred on December 25 on ​​Alfeiou Street in Pyrgos, allegedly over drugs.

Tensions erupted on Christmas Day between a Roma and Pakistani gang in the southwest Peloponnesian town and quickly escalated into a violent brawl, causing unrest in the local community and resulting in injuries and arrests.

The brawl began over a drug deal, DETE reported.

Police immediately mobilised, making arrests and searching for additional people involved while investigations were ongoing.

However, the incident did not stop there. Shortly afterwards, two people who participated in the first brawl fought again, and it is believed that this incident continued the first.
