74 Migrants Arrive at Gavdos Port, Seek Assistance

Seventy-four migrants, including individuals from Pakistan, Sudan, and Egypt, arrived at the port of Gavdos on Thursday, requesting assistance from Greek authorities. After being confirmed in good health, they will be transferred to Paleochora, Chania, and later accommodated at Agia for further registration.

Early Thursday morning, 74 migrants disembarked at the port of Gavdos, seeking assistance from Greek authorities.

The group includes 62 men from Pakistan, three from Sudan, and nine from Egypt.

Sources from the Athens-Macedonian News Agency report that the migrants will be transferred by ship to the port of Paleochora in Chania. From there, they will be taken to Agia for further registration and accommodation.

Authorities have confirmed that all the migrants are in good health.
