Drivers in Greece face higher toll prices as of January 1, affecting major highways and the iconic Rio-Antirrio bridge.

The increases impact cars and trucks traveling along the Patras-Corinth-Elefsina (Olympia Odos), Antirrio-Ioannina (Ionia Odos), and Rio-Antirrio bridge routes.

Starting January 8, additional toll hikes will be implemented on the Corinth-Tripoli-Kalamata and Lefktro-Sparta highways.

For private cars, the Patras-Elefsina trip now costs €13.30, up from €12.60, according to the Olympia Odos concessionaire. On the Antirrio-Ioannina route, Nea Odos announced an increase from €13.70 to €14.35. Tolls for the Rio-Antirrio bridge rose to €15.40, as confirmed by Gefyra SA.

The Corinth-Tripoli-Kalamata highway, managed by Moreas SA, will see tolls rise to €11.30 (from €10.80) as of January 8, while the Corinth-Tripoli and Lefktro-Sparta sections will increase to €12.45 (from €11.90).

These adjustments reflect contractual agreements with the highway operators and inflation indexing, impacting daily commuters and travelers alike as Greece enters the new year.
